Wedgewood-Houston facility now slated to open by year’s end.

The owners of what will be a Wedgewood-Houston-based cidery are targeting a mid-July date to begin local distribution.

Relatedly, Adam Diskin and Todd Evans now plan to open Diskin Cidery in December, after originally eyeing a mid-2017 date to be operational, and have released images.

The facility — located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Gray and Martin streets — is expected to be Middle Tennessee’s first commercial operation making hard apple cider.
